When is Enrich Oral Drops and Syrup prescribed for?
Enrich Oral Drops and Syrup is prescribed for iron deficiency anemia.

How should you take Enrich Oral Drops and Syrup?
Enrich Oral Drops should be taken for (Unless otherwise described by a doctor):

  • Premature babies: 1 drop daily (2.5mg) per kg body weight.
  • Children up to one year: Begin with 6 drops daily, increasing to 20drops/day, in distributed doses.
  • Children: (1 to 12 years): 20 drops once to twice daily (50 to 100mg).

Enrich Syrup as follows:

  • From two months to two years: one tea spoonful twice daily.
  • From two years to six years: one tea spoonful three times daily.

When you should not take Enrich Oral Drops and Syrup?

• Known hypersensitivity to the drug or any of the excipients.
• Iron utilization disorders.
• All types of anemia that are not caused by iron deficiency, iron overload.

Possible Side Effects

The following side effects have been reported with the administration of the Enrich:

  • Nausea
  • Consistency of the stool
  • Very rare abdominal pain
  • Upset stomach
